Mirror Replacement - Remote

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel.




2. Align the notch in the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
3. Press on the base of the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel to release the bezel from the door trim panel.




4. Remove the front door inner panel mirror insulators (3).
5. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).
6. Remove the outside rearview mirror (1) from the front door.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the outside rearview mirror (1) to the front door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts (2).

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).




3. Install the front door inner panel mirror insulators (3).




4. Align the notch in the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) with the tab in the hole at the front of the armrest.
5. Press in on the outside rearview mirror remote control bezel (1) to install the bezel to the trim panel.
6. Install the front door trim panel.
