Heater Door Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC module assembly.
2. Remove the heater core case cover.
3. Remove the heater core bracket and screw.
4. Remove the heater core.
5. Remove the heater/defroster slave door linkage from the heater door.




6. Remove the heater case cover shroud.
7. Remove the heater door from the HVAC module assembly case.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the heater door to the HVAC module assembly case.
2. Install the heater case cover shroud.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the mode/defroster door case cover screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).




4. Install the heater/defroster slave door linkage to the heater door.
5. Install the heater core.
6. Install the heater core bracket and screw.
7. Install the heater core case cover.
8. Install the HVAC module assembly.
