Compartment Replacement - IP

Removal Procedure




1. Lower the right insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right.
2. Remove the screws from the instrument panel (IP) compartment.




3. Open the IP compartment. Disconnect the IP damper cables.
4. Depress the side stops located on the sides of the IP compartment.
5. Carefully remove the IP compartment.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the IP compartment to the opening.
Depress the side stops located on the sides of the IP compartment.
Install the IP compartment to the IP compartment opening.
2. Connect the IP compartment damper cables.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the IP compartment screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Close the IP compartment. Verify that the IP compartment is properly aligned. Adjust the compartment as required.
5. Install the right insulator panel.
