Ambient Air Temperature Gage Sensor Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient temperature sensor that is located on the front radiator air baffle.
3. Remove the ambient temperature sensor from the radiator air baffle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the ambient temperature sensor to the radiator air baffle.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient temperature sensor.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately 11/2 minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately 1 minute in order to obtain the ambient update.
