Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
2. Cut and remove the hog rings. Slightly roll up the seat back cushion cover (1).




3. Remove the following components from the front seat adjusters (7):

* The reclining pivot shaft (3)
* The 4 bolts
* The seat back cushion




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the seat back cushion to the front seat adjusters (7). Secure the cushion with the 4 bolts.

Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

2. Install the reclining pivot shaft (3) to the front seat adjusters (7).




3. Roll the seat back cushion cover (1) down onto the seat back cushion.
4. Use hog ring pliers to install new hog rings (2). Ensure that the seat back cushion cover is secure.
5. Install the front seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
