Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back (Left)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .
2. Remove the left rear seat back cushion. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding (Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding) .
3. Fold down the right rear seat back cushion, if equipped with a dual split folding seat backs. Remove the right rear seat back cushion, refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Full Width) (Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Full Width))Seat Back Replacement - Rear (AN2) (Seat Back Replacement - Rear (AN2)) , if equipped with a child seat.
4. Unclip and remove the left rear side door sill trim plate (3).
5. Pull the left rear side door opening frame garnish molding (1) from the pinch weld flange (2) just past the top of the quarter upper trim panel.




6. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window) in Body Rear End.
7. Remove the left rear seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).




8. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 4 plastic retainers
* The left rear seat back trim panel (2)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the left rear seat back trim panel (2) to the vehicle. Secure the trim panel with the 4 plastic retainers.




2. Install the left rear seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).
3. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window) in Body Rear End.




4. Install the left rear side door opening frame garnish molding (1) to the pinch weld flange (2).
5. Install the left rear side door sill trim plate (3).
6. Return the right rear seat back cushion to the upright position, if equipped with dual split folding seat backs. Install the right rear seat back cushion, refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Full Width) (Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Full Width))Seat Back Replacement - Rear (AN2) (Seat Back Replacement - Rear (AN2)) , if equipped with a child seat.
7. Install the left rear seat back cushion. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding (Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding) .
8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .
