Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back (Right - AM9)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .
2. Remove the right rear seat back cushion. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding (Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding) .
3. Fold down the left rear seat back cushion.
4. Unclip and remove the right rear side door sill trim plate (3).
5. Pull the right rear door opening frame garnish molding (1) from the pinch weld flange (2) just past the top of the quarter upper trim panel.




6. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window) in Body Rear End.
7. Remove the right rear seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).




8. Remove the plastic retainer which secures the left rear seat back trim panel (2) over the right.
9. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 3 plastic retainers
* The right rear seat back trim panel (3)




Installation Procedure





1. Install the right rear seat back trim panel (3) to the vehicle. Secure the trim panel with the 3 plastic retainers.
2. Install the plastic retainer which secures the left rear seat back trim panel (2) over the right.




3. Install the right rear seat belt lower anchor bolt (1).
4. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window) in Body Rear End.




5. Install the rear side door opening frame garnish molding (1) to the pinch weld flange (2).
6. Install the right rear side door sill trim plate (3).
7. Return the left rear seat back cushion to the upright position.
8. Install the right rear seat back cushion. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding (Seat Back Replacement - Rear Split Folding) .
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear (Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear) .
