Bracket Replacement - IP Center Support

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to IP Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Assembly Replacement) .
2. Remove the connector housing bracket from the right I/P center support brace.
3. Remove the 2 plastic retainers (2) which secure the floor panel carpet to the I/P center support braces (1).




4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 3 nuts
* The 2 bolts
* The I/P center support braces (5)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the I/P center support braces (5) to the vehicle. Secure the braces with the following retainers:

* The 3 nuts
* The 2 bolts

Tighten the I/P center support brace nuts and bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).






2. Install the 2 plastic retainers (2) which secure the floor panel carpet to the I/P center support braces (1).
3. Install the connector housing bracket to the right I/P center support brace.
4. Install the instrument panel assembly. Refer to IP Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Assembly Replacement) .
