Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the push pins from the left halve of the sound insulator on the drivers side and remove from the I/P carrier.
2. Remove the bolts from the right halve of the sound insulator on the drivers side and remove from the I/P carrier

Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the right halve of the sound insulator on the drivers side to the I/P carrier, and install the bolts to the sound insulator.

Tighten the bolts to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

2. Install the left halve of the sound insulator on the drivers side to the I/P carrier and install the push pin.
