Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the push pin from right side of the sound insulator on the passenger side and remove from the I/P carrier.
2. Remove the bolts from the left side of the sound insulator on the passenger side and remove from the I/P carrier.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left side of the sound insulator on the passenger side to the I/P carrier.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts to the left side of the sound insulator.

Tighten the bolts to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

3. Install the right side of the sound insulator on the passenger side to the I/P carrier and install the push pin.
