Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory

Removal Procedure




1. With a flat-bladed tool remove the ignition switch trim cover.




2. With a flat-bladed tool remove the accessory trim plate from the I/P carrier.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cigar lighter.
4. Remove the cigar lighter from the accessory trim plate if required.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cigar lighter to the accessory trim plate.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the cigar lighter.
3. Align the accessory trim plate tabs to the I/P carrier.
4. Press the trim plate into the I/P carrier until the retaining tabs are engaged.




5. Align the trim cover to the ignition switch. Press the trim cover until the retaining tabs are engaged.
