SCAN TOOL DATA DEFINITIONS
A/C Disengage Reason: The scan tool displays one of the following reasons why the PCM has disengaged the a/c compressor; None, System Voltage, WOT, CKP, Learn Active, Engine Run Time, Coolant Hot, Anti Stall, A/C Pressure, Engine Speed, Trans Engine Speed, A/C Pressure Sensor, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Outside Air, Temp, A/C Switched Off.
A/C High Side Pressure Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-3450 kPa (0-500 psi). The voltage applied to the PCM input from the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor is converted to a pressure value. LX9 / 3.5L only.
A/C High Side Pressure Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-5 volts. The voltage applied to the PCM input for the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. LX9 / 3.5L only.
A/C LED: The scan tool displays the On/Off status of the a/c request LED showing status of A/C engagement.
A/C Off for WOT: The scan tool displays the high throttle disable of the a/c compressor.
A/C Pressure Disable: The scan tool displays the status of the a/c high side pressure sensor. The scan tool displays Active/Inactive.
A/C Relay Command: The scan tool displays On/Off. The scan tool displays the control decision for the compressor clutch relay output as determined by the PCM.
A/C Relay Circuit History: The scan tool displays the following message stating the history status of the a/c relay control circuit. The scan tool displays OK/Open/Short.
A/C Relay Circuit Status: The scan tool displays the following message stating the present status of the a/c relay control circuit. The scan tool displays OK/Fault.
A/C Request Signal: The scan tool displays Yes/No. The scan tool displays Yes when the PCM receives a message to engage the A/C compressor clutch. The scan tool displays No when the PCM receives a message to disengage the A/C compressor clutch.
A/C Request Switch: The scan tool displays On/Off. The a/c request switch shows current status of the a/c request switch function on the HVAC control module.
Ambient Air Temperature Sensor: The scan tool displays -40 to 87.5°C (-40 to 189.5°F). The current value of the ambient air temperature sensor.
Ambient Light Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-1023 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the ambient light sensor input of the BCM.
A/C Switch: The scan tool displays the current status of the A/C switch engagement at the HVAC control head. The scan tool displays Active/Inactive.
Auto Mode: The scan tool displays the current status of the A/C auto mode engagement at the HVAC control head. The scan tool displays On/Off.
Battery Voltage Signal: The scan tool displays the level of battery voltage at the HVAC control module. The scan tool displays 0 - 12 V.
Blower Motor Speed Command: The scan tool displays 0-100%. The scan tool displays the control decision for the blower motor speed as determined by the HVAC control module. The scan tool displays 100% when the blower motor is commanded to maximum speed. The scan tool displays 0% when the blower motor is commanded OFF.
ECT Sensor: The scan tool displays -40 to 215°C (-40 to 419°F). The voltage applied to the PCM input from the engine coolant temperature sensor is converted to a temperature value.
FC Relay 1 Command: The scan tool displays the command status of the PCM to relay 1. The scan tool displays On/Off. LX9 / 3.5L only.
FC Relay 2 and 3 Command: The scan tool displays the command status of the PCM to relays 2 and 3. The scan tool displays On/Off. LX9 / 3.5L only.
Ignition 1 Signal: The scan tool shows available voltage at the PCM. The scan tool displays 0-2 V.
Inside Air Temp. Sensor: The scan tool displays -40 to 185°C (-40 to 365°F). The voltage applied to the HVAC control module input for the inside air temperature sensor is converted to a temperature value.
Lower Duct Air Temp. Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the HVAC control module from the lower duct air temperature sensor.
Mode Dr. Position: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the mode door position input of the HVAC control module.
Mode Dr. Motor Commanded: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The desired position of the mode actuator as determined by the HVAC control module.
Mode Status: The scan tool displays the HVAC control module command of Def/Defog/Panel/Bi-level/Floor/Auto mode status.
Outside Air LED: The scan tool displays the command status of the HVAC control module Outside Air switch LED. The scan tool displays On/Off.
Outside Air Mode Switch: The scan tool displays the command status of the HVAC control module outside air mode switch. The scan tool displays On/Off.
Recirculation LED: The scan tool displays the current status of the recirculation actuator LED. The scan tool displays On/Off.
Recirculation Dr. Motor Command: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the recirculation door command input of the HVAC control module.
Recirculation Dr. Position: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The desired position of the recirculation actuator as determined by the HVAC control module.
Recirculation Switch: The scan tool displays the command status of the HVAC control module recirculation switch. The scan tool displays Active/Inactive.
Sunload Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the sunload input of the HVAC control module.
Temp Dr. Motor Command: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the air temperature door command input of the HVAC control module.
Temp Dr. Motor Position: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The desired position of the air temperature actuator as determined by the HVAC control module.
Temp Down Switch: The scan tool displays the command status of the HVAC control module temperature switch. The scan tool displays Active/Inactive.
Temp Up Switch: The scan tool displays the command status of the HVAC control module temperature switch. The scan tool displays Active/Inactive.
Upper Duct Air Temp. Sensor: The scan tool displays 0-255 counts (0-5.00 volts). The voltage applied to the HVAC control module from the upper duct air temperature sensor.
