Rear Wheelhouse Inner Panel Front Sound Barrier Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.

2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.

3. Remove the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring) Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring).

4. Remove the lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.




5. Remove the wheelhouse sound barriers (1) by peeling back from the wheel house panels (2).

Installation Procedure

Warning

All floor pan insulator material must meet Federal Vehicle Safety Standards for flammability. Failure to do so could result in personal injury and/or vehicle damage.

Note: Align the sound barriers in order to keep the seat belt and seat attachment areas are clear.

1. Ensure the attachment areas are clear.

2. Remove the backing of the sound barriers.




3. Press firmly in all areas in order to secure the sound barriers (1) to the wheelhouse panels (2).

4. Install the lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.

5. Install the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring) Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring).

6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.

7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.
