Horn Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front fascia assembly.





3. Disconnect the horn electrical connector from the horn unit (1).

4. Remove the horn assembly to front end module bolt (2).

5. Pull the horn assembly (3) outward to remove it from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Align horn in correct position on vehicle.





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the horn assembly to front end module bolt (1) and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

3. Connect the horn electrical connectors (3) to the horn assembly.

4. Install the front fascia assembly.

5. Lower the vehicle.
