Fuel Pump Flow Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.

Note:
When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support.

2. Install a suitable liftgate brace to the vehicle.

3. Remove the left side rear compartment side trim panel access hole cover.

4. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.

5. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.





6. Remove the fuel pump flow control module to battery tray underside retaining nut (2).

7. Detach the fuel pump flow control module retainers (4).

8. Remove the fuel pump flow control module (1) from the battery tray (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Attach the fuel pump flow control module (1) to the battery tray (3).

2. Attach the fuel pump flow control module retainers (4).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the fuel pump flow control module to battery tray underside retaining nut (2) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.

5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.

6. Install the left side rear compartment side trim panel access hole cover.

Note:
When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support.

7. Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.

8. Close the liftgate.
