Front Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness Replacement (Left)

Removal Procedure

Warning:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning Brake Dust Warning.






1. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1).

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

3. Remove the left front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.





4. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1).

5. Release the wheel speed sensor harness from the front strut bracket (2).

6. Release the wheel speed sensor harness (3) from the wheel house bracket (4).

Note:
Note the routing of the wheel speed sensor harness.

7. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Note:
Ensure the wheel speed sensor harness is routed correctly.

1. Connect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1).

2. Install the wheel speed sensor harness the front strut bracket (2).

3. Install the wheel speed sensor harness (3) to the wheel house bracket (4).

4. Install the left front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.

5. Lower the vehicle.





6. Connect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (1).

7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
