Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan).





2. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) (1) electrical connector (2).





Note:
Removal of the RFA is only accessible through the rear compartment.

3. Remove the RFA by releasing the two retaining tangs (1) and removing it from the rear window shelf.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the RFA by inserting the retaining tang (1) first and snap fitting the other two retaining tangs (2) listen for an audible click to confirm fitting.





2. Connect the RFA (1) electrical connector (2).

3. Install the rear window shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan).

4. Program the remote control door lock receiver (1). Refer to Control Module References Control Module References.

5. Operate the keyless entry for correct operation.
