Pressure Relief Valve Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan).

2. Remove the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.

3. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.

4. Remove the batter tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.

5. Remove the rear bumper fascia.





6. From inside the rear compartment, press the retaining tabs (1) while pushing outward in order to release the pressure relief valve (2) from the rear quarter panel.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the pressure relief valve (2) to the opening in the rear quarter panel.

2. Press inward on the pressure relief valve until the retaining tabs (1) engage to secure the pressure relief valve (2) to the rear quarter panel.

3. Install the rear bumper fascia.

4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement Battery Tray Replacement.

5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.

6. Install the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.

7. Install the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan).
