Exhaust Tail Pipe Flow Valve Vacuum Pipe Replacement - Chassis Rear (Vacuum tank to intermediate vacuum pipe)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




2. Disconnect the quick connect fitting (1) to the intermediate vacuum line. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.

3. Disconnect the quick disconnect fitting (3) and remove the vacuum pipe from the retainers (2).

4. Remove the rear chassis vacuum pipe.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear chassis vacuum pipe into the retainers (2).

2. Connect the rear chassis quick connect fitting (3) to the solenoid valve vacuum pipe.

3. Install the quick connect fitting (1) to the intermediate vacuum pipe.

4. Lower the vehicle.
