General Motors has determined that some 1982 C10 and 1983 C10-20, K10 Series Light Duty Chevrolet Trucks equipped with 4.1 liter L6 engines and automatic transmissions may be emitting pollutants in excess of Federal Emission Standards.

The EGR bleed restrictor may have been omitted in the exhaust emission control harness assembly. The absence of this bleed restrictor may result in poor engine performance and failure to meet NO(x) emission standards.)
