1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system.
2. Remove drive belts, then remove fan and pulley from water pump shaft hub. On some models, it may be necessary to remove the alternator upper and lower mounting braces, and if equipped, the lower power steering pump brace.
3. Disconnect radiator hose and heater hose from water pump fittings.
4. Remove bolts attaching water pump to timing case cover, then remove water pump assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
