Oil Pressure Check

1. Check transmission oil level and correct as necessary.

2. Check outside manual linkage and adjust as necessary.

3. Check engine timing and idle, adjusting as necessary.

4. Raise and support vehicle and place suitable jack under transmission.

5. Remove rear transmission crossmember side bolts.

6. Lower transmission enough to remove pressure tap plug which is located on left side of transmission. When replacing plug, torque to 6 ft. lbs.





7. Install pressure gage and hose, then install rear crossmember and side bolts and proceed with pressure checking procedure, see image. Pressures are off of servo apply.
