Heater Core: Service and Repair

BLOWER CASE/HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT

Heater Case Component View:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Coolant bottle.
3. Heater hoses from the core tubes.
4. Screws.
5. Antenna cable at the mast for access.
6. Instrument panel compartment for access.
7. Wiring harness from the computer.
8. Computer.
9. Computer bracket.
10. Kick pad.
11. Right side lower dash panel bolt and nut.
12. Heater case mounting bolts.
13. Heater case from the vehicle.
- Raise the instrument panel for additional room.
14. Heater core from the heater case.

Heater Case Component View:

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Heater core to the heater case.
2. Heater case to the vehicle.
- Raise the instrument panel for additional room.
3. Heater case mounting bolts.
4. Right side lower dash panel bolt and nut.
5. Kick pad.
6. Computer bracket.
7. Computer.
8. Wiring harness to the computer.
9. Instrument panel compartment.
10. Antenna cable at the mast.
11. Screws.
12. Heater hoses to the core tubes.
13. Coolant bottle.
14. Negative battery cable.
