Number: 90C14

Section: 6B

Date: May, 1990
Subject: PRODUCT CAMPAIGN 9OC14 ENGINE OIL COOLER LINE DETACHES

Model and Year: 1990 CHEVROLET "L" VAN (AWD ASTRO VANS) EQUIPPED WITH OPTIONAL ENGINE OIL COOLER (RPO KC4)
TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

General Motors has determined that certain early 1990 Chevrolet All Wheel Drive Astro Vans (L Vans) equipped with engine oil coolers have a fitting on the oil cooler outlet hose which may not be properly seated. If this fitting disconnects, it can result in rapid loss of engine oil and possible engine damage.

To assure that the fitting is properly seated, it will be necessary to disconnect the hose assembly and reconnect it properly.
