Rear Seats
Remove or Disconnect
1. Four seat anchoring nuts (10) and washers (11) from each pedestal top (12)
2. Rear seats (1).
3. Rear seat nut (8) , washer (7) and plastic washer (6) from each pedestal swivel stud (5).
4. Lap belt bolts (3) from both sides of each seat.
5. Lap belts (2).
6. Pedestal tops (12).
Install or Connect
1. Kit (new) pedestal tops (12) and secure into position at each swivel stud (5).
Important
^ New pedestal tops (12) are longer from front to rear.
Inspect
^ Belt bar (4) is in rear.
2. Plastic washer (6), washer (7) and nut (8) to each pedestal swivel stud (5).
Tighten
^ Nuts (8) to 30 ft. lbs (41 N-m) .
3. Lap belts (2) to outsides of each belt bar (4).
Inspect
^ Belts in fastened position at roughly 45 degrees from horizontal.
4. Lap belt kit bolts (3) securing lap belts (2) to bars (4).
Tighten
^ Bolts (3) to 45 ft. lbs. (61 N-m).
5 . Rear seats (1) to each new pedestal top (13) .
Inspect
^ Rear seat (1) studs fit into new pedestal top holes (9).
6. Washers (12) and nuts (11) to studs.
Tighten
^ Nuts (11) to 120 in. lbs. (14 N-m).
Inspect
^ All fasteners are properly secured.
