Fuel System Pressure Relief Procedure

After relieving fuel system pressure, a small amount of fuel may be released when servicing fuel pipes or connections. In order to reduce the risk of personal injury, cover fuel pipe fittings with a suitable shop towel before disconnecting to catch any fuel that may leak.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Loosen fuel filler cap to discharge tank pressure.
3. The internal constant bleed feature of the 220 TBI unit relives system pressure after engine is shut off, no further action is required.
