Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PERFORM THESE STEPS FIRST

1. If windows move slowly, check for:

^ Mechanical binding or non-greased pivot joints.

^ Fully charged Battery.

^ Clean and tight ground G200.

2. If switches do not illuminate when Park Lamps are turned "ON," refer to "Interior Lights,".

3. If the Express Down Feature does not work, but window moves down with each switch depression, replace the LH Window Switch.

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check.

^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.

^ Refer to the Symptom Table for the appropriate diagnostic procedure(s).
