Dear Chevrolet C/K Truck Owner:

This notice is sent to inform you that Chevrolet Motor Division is conducting a recall campaign that includes your vehicle.

REASON FOR THIS RECALL

As a valued customer, your complete satisfaction with your Chevrolet truck is our goal. In keeping with this goal, we want to let you know that we have discovered a problem that could affect your vehicle and we want to take care of it at no charge to you.

On certain C/K Suburbans, Blazers and Crew Cabs, such as yours, the air conditioning (A/C) system may be overcharged. This condition could affect the A/C performance and durability.

WHAT WE WILL DO

To be absolutely sure that your vehicle is to specifications, we will evacuate the A/C system and recharge it with the correct amount of refrigerant. Instructions for performing this service have been sent to your dealer and parts are available. Please contact your dealer to arrange a service date as soon as possible. You may ask your dealer if you wish to know how much time will be needed to schedule and process your vehicle.

The enclosed owner reply card identifies your vehicle. Presentation of this card to your dealer will assist in making the necessary correction in the shortest possible time. If you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by completing the postage paid reply card and returning it to us.
