Engine Removal

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Battery negative cable.
2. Air cleaner assembly.
3. Engine electrical LH side of engine.
4. Electrical connector at cruise servo.
5. Electrical connector at emergency jumper block.
6. Electrical wiring harness retainer at RH side of engine.
7. Electrical connector at engine cooling fan.
8. Shift cable, heat shield and bracket at transaxle.
9. Battery cable ground at engine.
10. Engine electrical block connector at RH side of engine.
11. Retaining screws to multi use relay bracket at tie bar.
12. Electrical connector at A/C compressor and accumulator.
13. Engine fuel vapor harness for engine.
14. Accelerator and cruise cables and bracket at throttle body.
15. Brake vacuum hose at engine.
16. Engine mount strut bolts and nuts from engine.
17. Drain engine coolant.
18. Radiator inlet and outlet hoses at engine.
19. Heater inlet and outlet hoses from engine.
20. Recover A/C system.
21. Fuel feed hoses at fuel rail.
22. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
23. Engine oil from pan.
24. LH and RH tire and wheel assembly.
25. Engine wiring hamess at front of frame.
26. Electrical wiring at starter assembly.
27. Flywheel covers from transaxle.
28. Starter assembly from engine.
29. Torque converter bolts from converter.
30. Intermediate shaft pinch bolt from steering column.
31. Both tie rod ends at LH and RH steering knuckles.
32. Retaining nut at RH and LH ball joints.
33. Both LH and RH drive axles and wire up to body.
34. Exhaust pipe to manifold bolts and springs.
35. Transaxle cooler line at transaxle.
36. Engine front mount nuts to frame.
37. Position engine/transaxle table below assembly.
38. Lower vehicle so engine/transaxle rests on table.
39. Frame retaining bolts from frame assembly.
40. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
41. Engine/transaxle assembly secure to table.
42. Power steering pump assembly from engine, lay aside.
43. Transaxle indicator tube assembly.
44. Engine to transaxle brace assembly.
45. Engine to transaxle bolts and stud.
46. Separate engine from transaxle/frame assembly.
47. Engine assembly to stand.
