Center High Mount Stoplamp (CHMSL)

Power is supplied to the Center High Mount Stoplamp CHMSL from the STOP-HZ Fuse through the ORN (140) wire to the normally open contacts of the Brake Switch. When the brake pedal is depressed the contacts close and power is supplied to one side of the CHMSL coil, the coil common terminals, and to the CHMSL. The coil is grounded through the BLK 150 wire and G104. When the coil is energized the contacts close and power is then supplied to the Directional Switch assembly and the LH and RH rear Stoplamps.
