Circuit Operation - Interior Lights Dimming
When the Park Lamps or Headlamps are turned "ON," voltage is applied to terminals "D" and "B" of the Remote Dimmer Module. The Remote Dimmer Module is a solid state device. When these two voltages are present, the Remote Dimmer Module allows voltage to be applied to the LPS Fuse, to the various Illumination Lamps for illumination. The Illumination Lamps are dimmed by using the Dimmer Rheostat at the Headlight Switch. The Dimmer Rheostat controls the current applied to terminal "B" of the Remote Dimmer Module (the lower the current - the dimmer the Illumination Lamps, the higher the current - the brighter the Lamps). This current at terminal "B" controls the current through the Remote Dimmer Module and to the Illumination Lamps.
