SHORTED ANTILOCK INDICATOR LAMP






CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC 86 relates to malfunctions in the "ANTILOCK" lamp circuits.

DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION"

1. Observe the "ANTILOCK" warning lamp operation.
2. Check for a short to voltage in CKT 867.
3. Check for a short to ground in CKT 867.
4. Check for a faulty EBCM.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS:

Do not pierce the electrical connectors, wires, seals, or insulation during testing. Doing so will break the seal and lead to corrosion and failure of the wiring and terminals.
