DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE 67 OPEN MOTOR CIRCUIT OR SHORTED VCM OUTPUT






CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION:

DTC 67 relates to the pump motor and circuit and the VCM. The DTC sets when the VCM commands the pump motor relay "ON" and the feedback voltage is not seen back at the VCM from the low side of the pump motor.

TEST DESCRIPTION:

- Check for short to voltage in CKT 1292.
- Check for open in CKT 1293.
- Check the operation of the pump motor relay and pump motor circuit.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS:

Do not pierce the electrical connectors, wires, seals, or insulation during testing. Doing so will break the seal and lead to corrosion and failure of the wiring and terminals.
