Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Description and Operation

The cruise control system uses an electrical brake release switch.

When the brake pedal is depressed, the electric release switch cuts off voltage to the cruise control circuit in the VCM. The engagement switch must be energized to return the cruise control to operation.
