Service Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle and secure with safety stands.2. Inspect the left front brake pipe for wear or verify that the outer protective coating on the brake line pipe has not rubbed off (Figure 1, Item 1).
3. If the left front brake pipe shows wear, replace the brake line, P/N 15734251 (Figure 1, Item 1) and bleed the brake system (this occurrence will be rare). Refer to Service Manual Book 1 of 2, Section 5A2.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. With the vehicle in a parked position, turn the front wheels so that the front of the wheel is pointing outward (wheels positioned to make a left-hand turn).
6. Install the engine oil-cooler hose assembly bracket (Figure 2, Item 1) to the engine oil-cooler outlet hose (Figure 2). Locate the 2 holes side-by-side on the frame (just forward of the engine mount bracket). Install the bolt (P/N 11513914) and the bracket to the frame (Figure 2, Item 2). The forward hole is threaded, the rearward hole is for a locating tab on the bracket assembly. Torque engine oil-cooler line bracket bolt to the frame, 14 Nm (10 lb. ft.).
7. Install the GM Campaign Identification Label.
