Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery ground (negative) cable.
2. Instrument panel compartment.
3. Disable the SIR system. Refer to "Dissabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System."
4. Fuse block.
5. Instrument panel cluster.
6. Steering column.
7. Hood release handle.
8. Front floor console.
9. Audio system.
10. Heater A/C controls.
11. Switch bank.
12. Knee bolster.
13. Headlamp switch.
14. Bolts/screws securing instrument panel trim pad to body.
15. Instrument panel trim pad by lifting up from bottom to release from top retainers.
16. Wiring harness.
17. Instrument panel trim pad from body.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Instrument panel trim pad to body by securing top retainers and lowering trim pad.
2. Wiring harness.

IMPORTANT
When lowering, instrument panel trim pad will rest off of the lower mounts. This will aid in routing of wiring harness. If necessary, prop instrument panel trim pad up to route harness.

3. Bolts/screws securing instrument panel trim pad to body.

Tighten
^ Bolts/screws to 10 Nm (89 lb.in.).

4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to "Dissabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System."

5. Instrument panel compartment.
6. Headlamp switch.
7. Hood release handle.
8. Knee bolster.
9. Switch bank.
10. Heater A/C controls.
11. Audio system.
12. Steering column.
13. Instrument panel cluster.
14. Front floor console.
15. Fuse block.
16. Battery ground (negative) cable.
