Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Description:

The high-mounted stoplamp has a LED circuit board which is not serviced as a separate part. The entire high-mounted stoplamp must be replaced if it fails.

Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery ground (negative) cable.
2. Screws from high-mounted stoplamp.
3. High-mounted stoplamp from body.
4. Electrical connector.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Electrical connector.
2. High-mounted stoplamp to body.
3. Screws to high-mounted stoplamp.

Tighten
- Screws to 6 N.m (53 lb.in.).

4. Battery ground (negative) cable.
