Illuminated Entry W/RKE

The illuminated entry feature will illuminate the interior so that you can see inside the vehicle. The interior lamps will come on for 40 seconds when you unlock the doors using any door lock cylinder switch or the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter (if equipped) and the ignition switch is in the OFF position. After 40 seconds have elapsed. the interior lamps will slowly fade out. The lamps will fade out before the 40 seconds have elapsed if you:
- Lock all doors using the RKE transmitter.
- Lock the doors using the door lock switches.
- Lock all doors using the key.

When any door is opened, illuminated entry is cancelled. The interior lamps will stay on while any door or liftgate is open, and slowly fade out when all doors and liftgate are closed.
