Troubleshooting Hints - Power Windows

1. If the front windows do not operate, check the PWR WDO/RR VENT Circuit Breaker for an open. If the fuse is blown check CKT 141 for a short to ground.
2. If the rear quarter windows do not operate, check the POWER QTR VENT Fuse for an open. If the fuse is blown check CKT 741 for a short to ground.
3. Check that G302 is clean and tight.
4. If the front windows only operate from the LF Window Switch, check for approximately B+ at the RF Window Switch terminal F (CKT 141).
5. Always check terminal contact before replacing any component.
- Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
- Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures. Diagnostic Aids
- Refer to System Diagnosis.
