Troubleshooting Hints - Rear A/C Blower Motor

1. CHECK the condition of the HTR-A/C Fuse (Fuse 12). If the Fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR the source of the overload in Circuit 141.

Important: If this Fuse is open the Front A/C will not operate either.

2. CHECK the condition of the RR Heat/A/C Fuse M2. If the Fuse is open, LOCATE and REPAIR the source of the overload in one of the following areas: Rear A/C Blower Motor or the Rear A/C Switch.
3. CHECK the condition and seating of the A/C Relay (Rear).
4. CHECK the condition of the Rear A/C Resistor Pack and the Rear A/C Blower Motor ground 0404.
5. CHECK the operation of the Rear Heater Blower Motor. If it is operating, problems with the Rear A/C Blower Motor or Resistor Pack are indicated.
6. If the Rear A/C Blower Motor works but there is no cooling, Check for proper Refrigerant Charge and for proper Cooling Capacity in the Front Unit.
- CHECK for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
