Instrument Panel Assist Handle

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the inflatable restraint IP module..
2. Remove the nuts from the assist handle.
3. Remove the assist handle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the assist handle to the instrument panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts that retain the assist handle to the instrument panel.

Tighten
Tighten the assist handle nuts to 27 N-m (20 lb ft).

3. Install the inflatable restraint IP module.
