Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the magnesium beam. Refer to Magnesium Beam Replacement.





2. Remove the brake pedal bolt.
3. Remove the bushings and the spacer.
4. Remove the brake pedal.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the spacer and the bushings into the brake pedal.





2. Install the brake pedal.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolt and nut.
^ Tighten the nut to 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the magnesium beam. Refer to Magnesium Beam Replacement.
