Garage Door Opener Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Remove the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the overhead console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (5,6).




4. Remove the screws from the back panel of the overhead console.




5. Remove the back panel of the overhead console.




6. Remove the screws (1) holding the universal garage door opener from the overhead console.




7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the universal garage door opener.




8. Remove the universal garage door opener from the overhead console.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Connect the electrical connector from the universal garage door opener to the overhead console.
2. Install the universal garage door opener to the overhead console.




3. Install the screws (1) from the universal garage door opener to the overhead console.




4. Install the back panel to the overhead console.




5. Install the screws to hold the back panel to the overhead console.




6. Connect the remaining electrical connectors (5,6) from the overhead console to the vehicle.
7. Install the overhead console to the vehicle.
8. Install the negative battery cable.
