Generator Noise Diagnosis

The following causes generator noise:
^ A loose drive pulley
^ Loose mounting bolts
^ Worn or dirty bearings
^ A worn stator
Do not disassemble the generator. Separating the frames will damage the slip ring end bearing. Generator service is limited to replacement.
