DTC 41 Last Message Received Valid:

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The digital RF message received from the remote control door lock transmitter was valid; all security checks passed.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The remote control door lock transmitter has been in the program mode out of range of the BCM. This malfunction could also be encountered if the remote control door lock transmitter itself is defective.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The correct remote control door lock transmitter functionality.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
Fault is corrected and DTC memory clearing procedure is completed.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
If a message is sent by the remote control door lock transmitter and no code is set, the remote control door lock transmitter may be detective. If the remote control door lock transmitter message is sent and code 41 is set, but the corresponding function does not take place, the BCM or related harness may be defective.
