DTC 055

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
This code is displayed to indicate the next two codes to be displayed are for the module hardware and software configurations. The first code following DTC 55 is the hardware configuration and the second is the software configuration. Code 55 and the two configuration numbers are always displayed.

Hardware Configuration Code:
24-1999 C/K 425 Hardware Configuration

Software Configuration Code:
42-1999 C/K 425 Production Software Configuration

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
This DTC is preset and is displayed whenever the BCM is in diagnostic mode.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
This code does not affect Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter functionality.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
Memory clearing procedure is completed.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
After DTC 55 is displayed and the hardware and software configuration codes are displayed then entire DTC list is repeated beginning with DTC 12.
