Park Brake System Circuit Description

The Park Brake Warning System consists of three main components.
^ Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Module
^ Park Brake Warning Switch
^ Instrument Cluster (I/C)
Power is supplied to the indicator lamp bus from the Gauges Fuse 4 through CKT 39 (PNK) to the Instrument Cluster. Ground is applied to the BRAKE indicator lamp by CKT 33 (TAN/WHT) through the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Module and from the DRL module by CKT 1134 (PPL/WHT) through the Brake Switch, which is internally grounded to the frame.
