Radio/Audio System Circuit Description
The DOME/PANEL circuit breaker applies the battery voltage at all times for the radio clock and the memory circuitry. If the voltage source is interrupted for any reason, reset the clock and memory functions.
When the ignition switch is in the ACC or RUN position, the accessory relay energizes, and battery voltage from the RDO circuit breaker switches through the relay contacts to the radio.
When the radio PWR button is pressed, the switch applies the voltage in order to power all electronic radio functions. The radio is permanently grounded through G101 (Diesel), or G111 (Gasoline).
