Air Conditioning (A/C) System Description

Electronic-actuated doors regulate the control of the airflow through the HVAC module. At various positions of the rocker switches on the control assembly, mode doors mix and direct the following types of air through the air ducts:

Ducts and Outlets

A system of ducts and outlets directs air to the passenger compartment. In cases of poor air output, inspect the following areas for obstruction:

* The defroster
* The heater
* The air conditioning
* The vent ducts

Obstructions may include the following items:

* Leaves
* Dirt
* Objects that have fallen into the ducts from the passenger compartment.

* Cooled air
* Heated air
* Outside air
