Auxiliary Power Outlet: Description and Operation

Cigar Lighter/Auxiliary Outlet Circuit Description

Battery power is available to the cigar lighter and auxiliary power posts through the BLOWER HORN Maxi(R)Fuse in the Maxi(R)Fuse block 1, to the CIG/AUX circuit breaker in the convenience center. Depending on option content, the IP harness in-line connector C215 connects to an auxiliary power posts harness, a cigar lighter harness, or an auxiliary power posts/cigar lighter harness. Ground is provide at several locations within the IP harness and at several locations within the engine harness.
